EPL Matchday 5 Betting Picks

Newcastle United vs Manchester United

Newcastle United put in a good showing in their final game before the break, defeating Burnley 3-1 at home. It’s been a positive start to the season for the new-look Magpies who will be eyeing off a top half of the table finish.

Manchester United got off to a dream start against Tottenham last time out, scoring in the opening couple of minutes via a penalty. It was all downhill from their however, as they went on to concede a whopping six goals en route to a humiliating defeat.

Newcastle have impressed us a couple of times this year, which can’t be said about Manchester United unfortunately. The Red Devils defense continues to give them headaches and it’s something that can’t be fixed overnight. We’re expecting the Magpies to have every chance to win this match, which makes them to win or draw a fantastic play here.

Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United

Tottenham went into the international break on an extreme high after their demolition job against Manchester United at Old Trafford. They were in irresistible form and will be hoping that the week off doesn’t slow them down.

West Ham also recorded a fantastic win leading into the break, destroying Leicester on their home deck by three goals to nil. The Hammers have had a pretty decent start to the season with two wins from a tricky four games.

Both teams will be confident after their great performances last time out, but we’re expecting Tottenham to be the team to go on with it. They’ve started matches really strongly this campaign and we expect them to be winning this at half time and full time.

Leicester City vs Aston Villa

Leicester City started off the season extremely well with three impressive wins from their first three games; however, their great start came to an end last time out when they were beaten convincingly at home by West Ham. The Foxes will be hoping that the week off with freshen them up and put them in a position to get back on the winners list.

Aston Villa put in the performance of the round when they thrashed Liverpool 7-2 just before the break. Everything was going Villa’s way and they didn’t put a foot wrong all match as they upset the reigning champs in a big way.

Aston Villa may be coming off one of their greatest ever wins, but it’s hard to see them backing it up against what will be a desperate Leicester outfit on their home deck. We’re fully expecting the Foxes to bounce back with a solid win at home.
