EPL Matchday 4 Betting Picks
Leicester City vs West Ham United
Sunday 7am ET
Leicester City have gotten off to a dream start in their new campaign with wins in each of their three games to date. Last time out was clearly their most impressive, defeating Manchester City 5-2 on the road in a ruthless performance.
West Ham United shocked everyone last weekend when they put the Wolves to the sword by four goals to nil. It was a great way to back up an impressive performance against Arsenal, albeit in a defeat in their second match.
The Hammers are coming off an inspired win over the Wolves, but they’ll face their toughest test yet when they take on the Foxes. We expect Leicester to be far too strong at home and to continue their winning start to the season.
Southampton vs West Bromwich Albion
Sunday 7am ET
Southampton were able to put a couple of listless losses behind them to record a gutsy 1-0 victory at home to Burnley last time out. Danny Ings was the hero once again and continues to prove he’s one of the premium strikers in the country.
West Brom looked on their way to their first victory when they led Chelsea by three goals at half time in their most recent encounter. It wasn’t to be however, as Chelsea levelled the scores in stoppage time in a heartbreaking manner.
Neither team has started the season well and the defense for both clubs remains an issue. We’re expecting plenty of goals in this matchup, making over 2.5 look like a fantastic bet.
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Fulham
Sunday 9am ET
Wolverhampton were shocked by a ruthless West Ham outfit in their most recent outing, losing four goals to nil in an alarming result. The Wolves have now lost two on the spin by multiple goals and will need to bounce back ASAP to get back on track for a top six finish.
Fulham have struggled tremendously to adapt to life back in the Premier League, with losses in each of their three games to date. They’re glued to the bottom of the ladder and will need to tidy things up in defense ASAP to start to get some positive results.
The Wolves may be coming off a couple of disappointing results, but they get the perfect opportunity to bounce back with an emphatic win at home against Fulham. We expect them to take full advantage of it and to win by 2+ goals.
