Manchester City vs Manchester United

It’s a top of the table Manchester derby as the second placed United travel to Etihad Stadium to take on the league leaders. Manchester City’s incredible winning streak is still intact, after defeating Wolverhampton 4-1 during the week. City have one hand on the title, with a fifteen point lead at the top of the Premier League table.
After an excellent month in January which saw them climb to the top of the league, United have fallen off, claiming just seven of a possible fifteen points from their last five Premier League matches. The Red Devils have been held to scoreless draws by Chelsea and Crystal Palace in their last two games. Their attacking flair they showed early in the season, has gone missing.
United’s record against ‘The Big Six’ is incredibly alarming. The Red Devils are winless against the big six and have only picked five points against the big six, the worst record of any of the big six against each other this season. Manchester City’s incredible run doesn’t look like stopping, and with the Red Devils inability to score at the moment, it’s hard to see United beating their cross town rivals.
Tottenham vs Crystal Palace
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Sunday 2:15pm (ET)
Tottenham picked up a much needed 4-0 over Burnley last week, and they’ll need another win this week to keep within touch of the top four. Spurs take on a struggling Crystal Palace side that has won just one of their last five matches in the Premier League.
Palace have remained competitive throughout the season, however the challenge of containing this Tottenham outfit looks to be tough. Harry Kane (25, equal 1st), (21, 2nd) lead the league in combined goals and assists, and Crystal Palace don’t have a defence that can contain the star duo. If Tottenham can control the game in the midfield, then they will run riot in this fixture, and could put up a massive score.
Wilfred Zaha, who has scored nine goals this season, will shoulder the weight of Palace’s chances as their main attacking threat. You can expect Mourinho to throw plenty of numbers behind Zaha. Tottenham have been excellent defensively this season, and it’s hard to see Crystal Palace finding a way through Spurs to produce a winning score. Tottenham will keep in touch with the top four, with a comfortable win over Palace.
Chelsea vs Everton
Stamford Bridge, Monday 1:00pm (ET)
One of the most crucial matches of the season takes place on Tuesday morning as the fourth placed Chelsea host the fifth placed Everton. With only two points between fourth and sixth on the Premier League table, both teams have a chance to jump into the top four with a win in this clash.
Everton are in fantastic form with three wins in a row, which has seen them climb into fifth, just one point behind Chelsea. The Toffees have matched up well against Chelsea in recent times, winning three of their last four matches against Chelsea. Brazillian star Richarlison holds the key in this clash, having scored in Everton’s last four matches.
Everton defeated Chelsea 1-0 earlier in the season, and with an opportunity to climb into the top four, they will be right up for the occasion. With their excellent record against Chelsea, and the red hot form of their star attackers, the Toffees are in an excellent position to cause an upset, and find their way into the top four.
