EPL Match Day 38 Betting Picks
Liverpool vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (Saturday 10am ET)
When looking at all the big fixtures on this weekend we just couldn’t go past making a play on the Liverpool vs Wolverhampton Wanderers fixture. Alongside the Brighton vs City fixture, this is the most important of all 10 matches this match day. This clash is scheduled for kick off at 10am (ET) on Saturday morning at Anfield and presents a chance for Liverpool to complete the season double over the Wolves, after beating them 2-0 at the Molineux earlier in the season.
Liverpool come into this after a miraculous come from behind victory against Barcelona in the UCL semi-finals mid-week. They trailed 3-0 after the first leg but managed to square it up at 3-3 before the hour mark in the second leg before breaking the hearts of Barcelona fans with an Origi winner just before the final whistle. It was just another stellar performance from the Reds who are still in the hunt for the EPL title should they win this game agains the Wolves and Manchester City either draw or lose their fixture with Brighton.
The Wolves have wrapped up seventh spot on the league table and will be in the qualification process for European football next season. Their 1-0 win over Fulham was a well-deserved three points and was their third win in a row in the league. It’s been an amazing season from the newly-promoted Wolves who by all reports will be looking to improve their squad even further in the off-season with their wealthy ownership willing to put in more money. It’s certainly a terrific time to be a supporter of the Wolves.
There’s simply too much on the line for the Reds here to suggest anything other than a big performance from them in front of their home fans. They’ve been terrific all season long and will be trying their best to do their part in their bid to win the title for the first time in over 25 years. Expect to see them win this by 2+ goals and put the pressure on Manchester City to get a result against Brighton.
