NFL Week 11 Sunday Betting Picks
New England at Houston
NRG Stadium, 1.00pm (ET)
The Patriots had a season defining win over the Ravens last week, their second in a row to get back to 4-5 and now trailing by just three games in the division. They’ll face off against a Houston team that they have a dominant record over in recent history. In 12 matchups against the Texans, the Patriots have an 10-2 record and won eight straight up until a loss last season.
Houston are 2-7 on the season so far and their only two wins have come against division rivals in the Jaguars. They are coming off a loss to the Browns where they put up just 7 points and their offense has been pretty poor this season, averaging just 22.2 points per game, the 8th worst mark in the league.
The Pats have found form at the right time of the season and have a really winnable game here to move back to .500 on the season facing a tough stretch of games. Back them to continue their dominance over the Texans with a run heavy offense.
Atlanta at New Orleans
Mercedes-Benz Superdome, 1pm (ET)
New Orleans sit atop the NFC South division with a 7-2 record and have won their last six games on the trot. They will, however, be without their starting quarterback Drew Brees this week after the veteran suffered a serious rib injury last week. There was some speculation over who would start in his place, but it looks as though hybrid QB Taysom Hill will get the first opportunity over Jameis Winston.
The Falcons started the season in poor form but they have bounced back to win three of their last four. Their offense has improved, putting up 33 points per game across those three wins. They sit in third place in a tough NFC South division, but a win here could pull them one game closer to making a miraculous challenge for a playoff spot.
The Saints start as 3.5 point favorites at home, an interesting spread considering they are without their star quarterback Brees. Luckily, they have two more than capable backups in Winston and Hill, both of whom should see playing time in the dynamic offense. The Saints should win this one at home in a high scoring game.
Kansas City at Las Vegas
Allegiant Stadium, 8.20pm (ET)
The game of the day sees the Raiders hosting the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football from 8.20pm. The Chiefs are 8-1 on the season and are absolutely rolling towards a successful Super Bowl title defense. Their only loss for the season came at the hands of the Raiders, back in Week 5 in a high scoring game.
Since that win, the Raiders are 3-1 with solid wins over the Browns, Chargers and Broncos. They are 3-0 in the division but this should be a tough one against a Chiefs team that will be out for revenge.
There was 72 points scored the last time these two teams met, and weather conditions look good for another high scoring clash. The Chiefs have scored 31.8 points per game this season, good for 2nd in the league while the Raiders have put up 28.3 points per game. Back the overs here.
