Super Bowl VL is finally upon us! The Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will do battle on Sunday evening in what should be a thrilling contest. While the game itself is without doubt the highlight of the day, there are plenty of other sub plots, particularly for gamblers who will be riding a bunch of different scenarios surrounding everything from the broadcast, half-time show and more!

National Anthem
The National Anthem will kick off Super Bowl proceedings as usual and this years edition will be sung by Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan. Country singers tend to go a bit quicker in their renditions of the anthem and while no recordings are readily available for Church, there is a few of Sullivan belting out the Star Spangled Banner in just over 1:50. The line is currently set at around 2:03 so we think this one goes under pretty comfortably.
Gatorade Shower
The color of the Gatorade shower for the winning coach in the Super Bowl is always one of the most popular novelty bets surrounding the big game. We think this year, more than ever, it is easier to predict a color as both teams predominantly wear red. Bill Belichick was doused in Patriot blue multiple times after their Super Bowl victories and there was some contention last year as to whether Andy Reid received a red or orange shower. Either way, a predominantly red team will be winning the big game this year so we think red at +200 is good value.
Halftime Show
One of the biggest acts in the world, The Weeknd, will headline the Super Bowl halftime show this year after putting out one of the most popular albums of the year in 2020. There are some monster tracks on ‘After Hours’ and arguably the biggest of them is ‘Blinding Lights’ which was made famous in part by its viral Tik Tok trend. We’ve often seen half time show perforamers kick off with their most upbeat and popular song over the past few years to really get the crowd going. At +225, Blinding Lights is our pick for the first song.
