Eight game slate in the NBA this Sunday, the 29th of November and as always, we have you covered with a preview for the key games below.
NBA Sunday Picks
Denver Nuggets at New Orleans Pelicans
Smoothie King Centre, 3.30pm (ET)
The Nuggets are 14-8 on the season and sit in 2nd place in the Western Conference. They will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss to the Hawks in their last game, a defeat that snapped a four game winning streak.
The Pelicans have an identical record to the Nuggets and sit one spot behind them in 3rd place in the Western Conference. They are currently on a three game winning streak, the most recent of which a dominant 18 point win over the Spurs on Friday.
Tough to split these two teams who have the same record straight up and against the spread. I like the over here though. Both of these teams sit in the top 10 in total offense this season, averaging 117.1 and 115.1 points per game.
Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets
Barclays Center, 6.00pm (ET)
The Celtics are absolutely flying so far this season. They have a league best 18-5 record and sit in 1st place in the Eastern Conference. They are 7-3 on the road and will be at Barclays Center on Sunday night as they look to take a 1-0 season lead over their divisional rivals.
The Nets have fought back extremely well after a slow start to the season. They are 13-11 on the year and have won their last four games to jump up into 6th place in the Eastern Conference. Kevin Durant is an MVP contender, averaging 29.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game.
The Celtics start as 3 point favourites on the road, which seems about right given the two teams form of late. I like the unders here though. 234.0 is an extremely high number and combined, these two teams allow just 224 this season.
