Seven game slate in the NBA this Sunday, the 13th of November and as always, we have you covered with a preview for the key games as well as betting picks for every matchups below.
NBA Saturday Picks
Utah Jazz at Philadelphia 76ers
Wells Fargo Center, 7.30pm (ET)
The Jazz have been one of the major surprises of the season so far. After trading away their two best players in the summer, they have started the season with a 10-4 record and currently sit in 1st place in the Western Conference. They have been getting the job done on offense, ranking 2nd with 118.3 points per game.
On the contrary, many were picking the 76ers as real title contenders this season but they have started incredibly poorly, going 6-7 through their first 13 games to sit in 9th place in the East. They are missing the services of star point guard James Harden, who will be out for at least the next few weeks with a foot injury.
Unbelievably, the Jazz still get zero respect from the bookmakers despite their fantastic start. Sure, they are on the road, but getting 3.5 points against this Philly team sans James Harden is an absolute steal in my opinion.
Golden State Warriors at Sacramento Kings
Golden1 Center, 9.00pm (ET)
Inconsistency has been the main flavour of the Warriors season so far as they sit 5-7 in 11th place in the West through their opening 12 games. They rank dead last in the NBA for total defense, allowing 119.0 points per game.
The Kings are also in the bottom six in the league in this category, allowing 116.8 points per game and maintaining a 5-6 record.
These two teams faced just a a week ago on the 7th of November and combined for 229 points that night. Neither of these teams look interested in playing defense at the moment so I think overs it the play here, even at the juiced line of 234.5.
