Week 13 in the NFL is set to be a big one with Thursday night football between the Patriots and Bills kicking things off! Check out our previews for the key games as well as betting picks for every matchup below.
NFL Week 13 Betting Picks
Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots
Thursday 8.15pm (ET)
The Patriots will look to shake things up in the AFC East as they host the Bills on Thursday night football from 8.15pm. A win here would give them a 7-5 record on the season, and mean that all four teams in the division would be seperated by just one win heading into the Week 13 Sunday slate.
The Bills have won their last two games in a row over the Lions and Browns but neither win was extremely convincing. They are just 5-5-1 against the spread this season, a far cry from their dominant regular season ATS last year.
The Patriots went down to the Vikings on Thanksgiving but were extremely competitive on the road. They are 6-4-1 against the spread this season but have lost their last two at home to the Bills. Finding it tough to split these two teams with the 4.5 point line in favour of the Bills. Leaning towards the over instead. The Bills have a dynamic offense and the last two games between these two teams have resulted in an average of 59.0 total points.
Indianapolis Colts at Dallas Cowboys
Sunday 8.20pm (ET)
The Cowboys are absolutely rolling at the moment. They have won two in a row, both big wins over conference opponents in the Vikings and Giants. They sit in 2nd place in the NFC East with an 8-3 record and could all but secure a playoffs berth with a win here.
The Colts will be coming off a loss and a short week after losing to the Steelers on Monday Night Football in Week 12. They have lost their last two and are now three wins behind the division leading Titans. They have one of the worst offenses in the league this season, averaging just 15.8 points per game.
Cowboys should continue to roll at Jerry’s World. They are 10 point favourites and have been great against the spread this season (7-4 and 4-2 at home). Back them to cover the margin here.
New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Monday 8.15pm (ET)
Another loss for the Buccaneers on the weekend means that the door is wide open for anyone that wants to bust through in the NFC South. It means that this Monday Night Football divisional matchup between the Buccs and Saints from Tampa is a mini playoffs game.
The whole division is seperated by just one win, and if the Saints can earn a victory here it will pull them level with the top teams in the Buccs and Falcons. Both teams are coming off losses heading into this game, and this NFC South division has been so underwhelming this season that it’s hard to get a read on any game involving any of the four teams.
The Buccs start as 3.5 point favourites but I’m leaning towards the under here. The Saints were shutout by the 49ers on the weekend while the Buccs were only able to manage 17 points against the Browns. The two teams are ranked 21st and 27th in total offense this season and combined for just 30 points in their earlier matchup this year.
