NFL Week 6 Betting Tips

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Philadelphia Eagles

Thursday, 8.20pm (ET)
The Bucs were a little slow out of the blocks against the Patriots in Week 4 but bounced back in a big way on the weekend, downing the Dolphins at home by 28 points as Tom Brady passed for 411 yards and five touchdowns. The offense was firing on all cylinders in perfect weather, and conditions look to be clear again on Thursday night in Philly.
Phildaelphia were captured a solid win over the Panthers on Sundya to move to 2-3 and stay relevant in the NFC East. They are now two games behind the Cowboys, but have a touch stretch of games including the Bucs, Raiders and Chargers in the next three weeks.
The Bucs start as seven point favourites on the road, which I think is a little bit low considering the conditions look good for their offense. They were shaky in New England in the rain, but in perfect weather, the Bucs offense should take over here against a Philly that gave up 41.5 points per game to the Cowboys and Chiefs in back to back games a few weeks ago.

Seattle Seahawks at Pittsburgh Steelers

Sunday 8.20pm (ET)
The Steelers have to be the hardest team in the league to predict this season. They recorded a fantastic win over the Bills in Week 1 before going onto lose three straight games to the Raiders, Bengals and Packers. They bounced back in Week 5 with another upset win, defeating the Broncos by 8 points as they moved to 2-3 on the season to stay alive in the AFC North.
The Seahawks wil be on the back of an extended break this week after they went down to the Rams on Thursday night football in Week 5. The loss sent the Seahawks to 2-3 in a tough NFC West division and to make matters worse, starting QB Russel Wilson went down with a hand injury that is set to keep him out for at least four weeks.
In his place, Geno Smith will start for the Seahawks and although he had a few good moments when he came in late against the Rams, there’s no doubt it will be a tough test for him this week on Sunday Night Football. The Steelers start as 4.5 point favourites at home with no Wilson in the lineup. Don’t like that spread either way, but I do like the overs here.
Geno starting and the struggles of the Steelers this season has brought this line all the way down to just 42.5 points, but Sunday night games have had a knack for producing points this year. 54.2 points per game have been scored in Sunday night games this season, back the overs here.

Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans

Monday night football sees an interesting AFC clash between the Bills and Titans. Buffalo made a statement on Sunday night in Week 5, downing the Chiefs in a dominant performance, moving to 4-1 and two wins clear in the AFC East. The Bills have put up 34.4 points per game this season, the most of any team in the NFL and QB Josh Allen was fantastic again in Week 5, putting up 315 passing yards and three touchdowns.
The Titans sit atop the AFC South division, but that’s not a great achievement considering the other three teams in the division have a combined two wins so far this season. Tennessee claimed a good win over the Jaguars on the road on the weekend, but will face a whole different beast this week as they come up against the Bills.
The Titans offense boasts the best running back in the league in Derrick Henry and they signed one of the best recievers in the league in Julio Jones in the off-season, and looked to have finally found their groove in Week 5 as they put up 37 points. Love the over here, the Bills score 34.4 points per game while the Titans average 26.
