Unbelievably unlucky again today with Tristan Thompson effectively only playing the second and third quarter due to found trouble and a blowout scoreline. He finished with 17 Points + Assists in 19 minutes and was on track to cruise past his 22.5 line. Nevertheless, we’ll look to turn around a tough week with a big day on Friday. We’re going to providing our best tip for each game, as well as our usual best bet. Good luck to all following!

Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets (Toyota Center – 7pm ET)
Today’s preview comes from the highly anticipated match-up between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center (12pm AEDT). There’s been plenty of drama surrounding both of these Western Conference rivals in the early part of the season, which should make for a hotly contested affair.
The Warriors come into this one in some shaky form, losing two of their last four games and only narrowly beating the lowly Hawks in their last outing. It seems that Steph Curry will again be sidelined with injury, while Draymond Green will return to the team after facing a one-game suspension for crossing the line in an argument with teammate Kevin Durant. It’s going to be very interesting to see how the two play together on Friday, as the argument was said to be one of the most heated in this successful Golden State era.
On the other hand, the Rockets have looked like their old selves of late and have rallied to win five of their last seven games, with a 10-point win over the Nuggets coming in their latest game. They’ll be looking to record three straight wins for the second time this season when they face the Warriors on Friday in the first of a three game home-stand.
The Rockets and Warriors are arguably the hottest rivals in the competition at the moment, which should make for a fierce contest on Friday. The last time these two teams met was in the Western Conference Finals last season when the Warriors came back from a 3-2 game deficit to win the series in seven games.
The Warriors just don’t look the same without Steph Curry running the point. In our opinion he’s the most important player on their team, as his floor spacing and passing ability makes his teammates so much better when he’s out there. When you add in the current feud between KD and Green and the home-court advantage, we feel the Rockets should go into this one as clear favourites. We’re happy to back them in at the money-line here.
