Tough day for us with the Sixers blowing a healthy fourth quarter lead to eventually fall short of their line in overtime. We now shift our focus to Sunday’s slate, where we’re confident we can get back to winning ways. Good luck to all following!
Best Best Saturday November 10th
Milwaukee Bucks at Los Angeles Clippers (Staples Center – 7pm ET
Our best bet for Sunday the 11th of November comes from the Milwaukee Bucks at Los Angeles Clippers match-up. This one looms as the best game of a tasty 10-game slate that is filled with great games.
The Milwaukee Bucks are coming off arguably the best performance of any team this season, as they defeated the back-to-back defending champion Golden State Warriors by 23 points on Friday. They started well and never looked back as they punished the oppositions basket with a massive 84 points in the paint. It was a truly impressive effort from a team that has shown an elite ability to shoot the ball from outside the arc. That win took the Bucks to a 9-2 record, which has them in second position in the Eastern Conference standings. They now travel to face the Clippers in what is the third of a four game road trip.
Meanwhile, the Clippers have put together a solid season themselves with a positive 6-5 record to date. They currently sit in seventh position in the Western Conference standings and will host the Bucks in the first of a three-game home stand. The Clippers have gotten great contributions from their forward tandem of Danilo Gallinari and Tobias Harris, who currently average an impressive 20 and 21 points, respectively. They will need to stand tall once again on Sunday as they try and limit the impact of current MVP favourite Giannis Antetokounmpo.
There’s no doubting that the Clippers have exceeding expectations in the season so far and loom as a possible seventh or eighth seed in the West when it’s all said and done. However, the way that the Bucks have been playing makes it impossible to back them at nearly even odds. We can see Giannis, Khris and co. putting in another great effort and pushing the Bucks over the line in this one.
