Day five of the NBA produced our first losing day on the punt. Our best bet in Cedi Osman played 39 minutes, took 15 shots, but couldn’t eclipse his 13.5 point line (finished with 12). We’ve now shifted our attention to Tuesday’s big slate, where we’ve analysed each and every game and come up with our best plays of the day. Good luck to all following!
Best Bet Monday October 22nd
New York Knicks at Milwaukee Bucks
Fiserv Forum – 7pm ET
This preview is going to be a bit shorter today as it’s a play we’ve been on previously and have already noted our reasoning. Once again, we’re going to be taking Giannis Antetokounmpo’s rebounding Overs.
After watching the Bucks first two games of the season closely, we’re extremely bullish on Giannis’ chances of leading the league in rebounds this season.
We touched on this in our piece on Friday (for Saturday’s game), but the addition of Brook Lopez is a huge factor in the spike in Giannis’ rebounding numbers. Lopez is terrific at boxing out, but he has absolutely no interest in grabbing rebounds. This allows Giannis to stroll in and grab uncontested rebounds at will.
In his two games so far this season, Giannis has had 18 rebounds (35 mins) and 15 rebounds (32 mins). The most impressive part of all is the fact that he’s been in foul trouble in both games.
Simply put, we’re going to keep abusing the Overs on Giannis rebounds until he gets the respect from the Bookies. We’re very happy to make a play on him again as our best bet for the day.

Bonus Tips
We’re keen to keep backing in Jimmy Butler to eclipse his point line until he gets more respect from the Bookies. He’s currently a man on a mission and has put up big numbers in both his games this season. He missed the Wolves last game as ‘precautionary rest’ after a limited pre-season, but we expect him to be in full swing on Tuesday against the Pacers.
Jimmy Butler OVER 21.5 Points – $1.81 at Sportsbet
Another player prop we’re big on in Tuesday’s slate is Dallas Mavericks rookier Luka Doncic to hit over 1.5 three pointers. He has a sweet stroke and isn’t afraid to let it fly. He’s averaged seven attempts through his first two games of the regular season and has had 37 attempts in six games total if you count the pre-season. He’s also coming up against a Bulls defence that is one of the worst in the NBA.
Luka Doncic OVER 1.5 Threes Made – $2.07 at Sportsbet
The only head-to-head match-up that really caught our eye in the Tuesday slate is the Wizards vs Trail Blazers. After watching both the Wizards and Blazers first two games we are quite confident that this is going to be a one-sided affair. The Wizards are poorly coached and have had two demoralising losses to start the season, while the Blazers are coached terrifically and have had two impressive victories to kick off their campaign. Long story short, we expect this trend to continue.
Trail Blazers -4 handicap – $1.90 at Bet365
