Week 13 in the NFL has been an eventful one so far and the action continues early in the work week as we have games on both Monday and Tuesday night! Monday night will see a double header played out from 5pm ET while Tuesday night hosts a massive clash between Dallas and Baltimore.
NFL Week 13 Monday/Tuesday Betting Picks
Washington at Pittsburgh
Although it was closer than many expected, the Steelers train rolled on in Week 12 despite their game being pushed back all the way to Wednesday afternoon. They captured a great win over the Ravens to remain undefeated on the season and currently sit at 11-0 with a 2.5 game lead over their nearest rivals in the division. The Steelers didn’t cover against the Ravens, however, they are 8-3 against the spread this season and 4-2 against the spread at home.
Washington have won their last two on the trot, covering the spread in both games against the Bengals and Cowboys. This week poses a much tougher task, and 6.5 point underdogs, the fifth time they have faced a spread that large this season. They are 0-3-1 in those other four games, losing to the Cardinals, Browns, Ravens and Rams by a combined margin of 53 points in four straight weeks.
Can’t see a way in which Washington keep this close on the road, even after back to back wins. The Steelers have been playing on another level this season and when facing NFC East opponents this season, they are 3-0 with an average winning margin of 8 points. Back them to cover here.
Buffalo at San Francisco
State Farm Stadium, Monday 8.15pm (ET)
The 49ers have relocated to Arizona for the next three weeks due to strict COVID-19 restrictions back in San Francisco and will host the Bills on Monday night. The Bills are looking to get some sort of revenge on their trip to Arizona a few weeks ago, which ended in a loss at the hands of a thrilling Hail Mary by Kyler Murray.
The Bills are 3-0 against the spread in their last three games, all against pretty tough oppoennts in the Seahawks, Cardinals and Chargers. They get a slight reprive here before a tough run home which includes games against the Steelers, Patriots and Dolphins. They currently sit atop the AFC East by 0.5 games over the Dolphins, while the Patriots are also charging after a big Week 13 win.
Love the value of the Bills here. The 49ers will be scrambling for form and fitness after relocating to Arizona and if not for a miraculous play by Kyler Murray, thye would have won their last five games on the trot. Back them to travel to Phoenix and get a win as underdogs here.
Dallas at Baltimore
M&T Bank Stadium, Tuesday 8.05pm (ET)
It’s make or break for the Baltimore Ravens. The AFC North is lost already, but at 6-5 on the season, they will likely need to win all of their remaining games just to pinch a wildcard spot in what has proven to be an extremely competitive AFC this season. They have lost their last three on the trot and will need to bounce back in a big way against the Cowboys on Tuesday night.
Without their star quarterback Dak Prescott at the helm, the Cowboys have struggled to get anything going this season. They are 3-8 and sit at the bottom of the NFC East division. They have a league worst 2-9 record against the spread after failing to cover their first eight games of the season. They were absolutely pulverised by a weak Washington team in their last game, going down 41-16 in a whitewash.
The Ravens start as 9 point favourites at home and it’s hard to like the Cowboys to cover after last week’s performance. Unbelievably, Dallas is still in the hunt for the NFC East as the division leading Giants have just a 5-7 record. Unfortunately, even with their season on the line, we can’t see them covering here.
