The Steelers and Ravens were supposed to headline the Thanksgiving Day slate, however, due to COVID-19 concerns, the game was rescheduled to Tuesday night. We will now have games on Monday and Tuesday night to close out Week 12 in the NFL. See our preview and betting picks for both games below!
NFL Week 12 Betting Picks
Seattle at Philadelphia
Lincoln Financial Field, Monday 8.15pm (ET)
The Seahawks suffered a tough loss to the Rams in Week 10 but bounced back with an important divisional win over the Cardinals on the weekend. They now sit 0.5 games ahead of the Rams in the tight NFC West division race, but look odds on to take the division with really winnable games against the Eagles, Giants, Jets and Washington over the next four weeks.
The Eagles are 3-6 on the season but unbelievably, they are still right in the hunt for hte NFC East division. The Giants and Washington are tied at the top of the table with a 4-7 record, but if the Eagles want to challenge, they’ll need something special to happen over an incredibly tough stretch of games that sees them play Seattle, Green Bay, New Orleans and Arizona over the next four weeks.
Can’t see a way in which the Seahawks lose this one with so much on the line. The Seahawks start as 6.5 point favorites, a line which they have covered in five of their seven wins this season. On the other hand, the Eagles are just 3-7 against the spread this season and 0-2 in their last two.
Baltimore at Pittsburgh
Heinz Field, Tuesday 8.00pm (ET)
What was going to be the headline game of the Thanksgiving Day slate has now been pushed all the way back to Tuesday night. The Steelers are 10-0 on the season so far and showed no signs of slowing down in Week 11, racking up a dominant 24 point win over the Jaguars on the road. They have a league best 8-2 record against the spread and 4-1 at home.
The Ravens are in danger of missing the playoffs and desperately need a win here to keep themselves in the hunt. The Steelers are atop the AFC north division while the Browns sit in second place with an 8-3 record. The Ravens are a further two wins back at 6-4, coming off back to back losses against the Patriots and the Titans.
The Steelers were four point winners over the Ravens in their first meeting of the season in Baltimore back in Week seven. They’ll be back at home this week, where they’ll be even stronger with a near full strength line-up. The Ravens on the other hand, have some key injuries and unavailable players. The Steelers should win here but the 10.5 point spread is a hefty one. The teams combined for 52 points in their first meeting of the year, which makes the 41 point line look pretty small here.
