The Cavs are one of the strongest teams in the Eastern Conference and will be at home on Saturday night as they host the Mavericks from 8.00pm. They are 19-11 on the season and have a dominant 13-2 home record. They are lead by Donovan Mitchell on offense, with the star guard averaging 29.2 points per game.

The Mavs have struggled in the Western Conference this year, maintaining a 15-14 record and currently sitting in 10th place. Luckily, the West is so tight at the moment that they sit just four games behind the conference leading Grizzlies. They have a horror road record this season at 3-9 (4-8 against the spread).

The Cavs start as 5 point favourites at home and it’s hard not to like them given their home record. To go with the 13-2 home record straight up, they are 11-3-1 against the spread at home. They aren’t missing any key players here so should continue their home form.

The Pelicans are 18-10 on the season and sit in 2nd place in the Western Conference. They will be on the road on Saturday night as they travel to Phoenix. The Pels have lost their last two games in a row to squander top spot in the West, but were coming off winning 7 of their last 8 before that. star forward Brandon Ingram remains on the sidelines with a toe injury but Zion Williamson has stood up in the absence, averaging 31.75 over the last four games.

The Suns are 17-12 on the season but have been dominant at home. They are 12-3 at Footprint Center and 9-6 against the spread. They will be looking forward to being back on home turf on Saturday night after completing a stretch which saw them on the road in six of their last seven. Devin Booker has been the standout performer for the Suns, averaging 26.9 points per game.

The Suns are 3.5 point favourites at home but I’m leaning more towards the over here. These two teams sit in 5th and 9th place for points per game this season and have hit the over in 6 of their last 9 combined games.
