NBA Betting Picks: Monday Feb 14th

The Pelicans desperately need to start winning if they want to remain in the hunt for a playoffs spot in the Western Conference. They currently sit in 11th place with a 22-34 record, but were busy in teh trade period, picking up Trail-Blazer guard C.J. McCollum to strengthen their backcourt.

The Raptors are coming off a loss to the Nuggets in their last game and will be keen to bounce back. They had reeled off 8 straight wins to move themselves up into 7th place in the Eastern Conference before that loss.

The Raptors have won four of their last six games against the Pelicans, including their only matchup so far this season, which they won by four points at home. The Raptors don’t really have any injury concerns to worry about at the moment, but the Pelicans will likely be without star forward Zion Williamson. Back the Raptors to win this one on the road.

The Warriors are in 2nd place in the Western Conference and take on their old rivals in the LA Clippers in the marquee late game of the night. They bounced back from a loss to the Suns with a thrilling win over the Lakers on Saturday night, which took them to 42-15 on the season.

The Clippers are right on the bubble in the Western Conference, sitting in 8th place with a 28-30 record. They have had to navigate their way through the regular season so far without their best two players in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George for the majority of games, and the pair will remain on the sidelines for this game.

The Warriors start as six point favourites on the road and I’m siding with them at that line. They have won three of their last four against the Clippers by an average margin of 9.0 points.
