NFL Week 12 Betting Picks

Buffalo Bills at New Orleans Saints

Thursday 25th November, 8.20pm (ET)
The Saints and Bills will headline the Thanksgiving Day triple header from New Orleans at 8.20pm. The Bills have lost three of their last five games to squander their lead in the AFC East, now sitting 0.5 games behind the Patriots. They need a win here to square the ledger, or they could see themselves right in the mix of an ugly battle for the AFC wildcard.
The Saints find themselves right in the middle of that battle in the NFC. They are 5-5 at the moment, currently two games back from the NFC South leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They are coming off three straight losses to the Falcons, Titans and Eagles and have an incredibly tough run coming up, with games against the Bills, Cowboys and Bucs over the next month.
Tough game to call here between two talented sides that are clearly out of form at the moment. The Bills are one of the highest scoring teams in the competition at the moment, averaging over 29 points per game. The Saints defence has fallen off over the past month, allowing 29.25 points per game in the last four. Back the overs here.

Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens

Sunday 28th November, 8.20pm (ET)
The AFC North is a heated battle at the moment. The Ravens sit atop the division with a 7-3 record but the rest of the division is breathing down their neck, all three teams with either five or six wins. Each of these divisional matchups in the last third of the season will be extremely important, so it’s no wonder this one has been given the marquee Sunday night timeslot.
The Browns are coming off two pretty disappointing weeks which saw them get smashed by the Patriots 45-7 followed by a marginal victory over the winless Lions that didn’t inspire much confidence at all. They now face the Ravens in back to back games, so a 2-0 result would get their season right back on track.
The Ravens start as 3.5 point favourites at home, which I think is a little low given the Browns form of late. The Ravens are 4-1 straight up at home while the Browns are 2-3 on the road this season.

Seattle Seahawks at Washington Football Team

Sunday 28th November, 8.15pm (ET)
It’s been largely a season to forget for both of these teams so far. The Seahawks battled through a tough period without Russel Wilson but now that he is back in the line-up, they have lost their last two games on the trot to the Packers and Cardinals. Washington lost four games on the trot but has bounced back with two straight wins over the Buccs and Panthers over the last two weeks.
Washington are still one of the worst teams against the spread in the entire league, maintaining just a 3-7 record ATS and just 1-4 at home ATS. On the contrary, the Seahawks are 3-2 against the spread on the road.
I like the look of the unders here. These two teams both sit in the bottom third of the league for points scored per game and throughout their last two meetings have resulted in just 33 total points per game.
