A tough loss today for us with the Celtics regressing on their recent form to put in a terrible effort against the Clippers. It was a misread form guide for us and one that we are confident we can rectify with a winner on the large Tuesday slate, which includes seven games. Check out our best play from the slate below and good luck to everyone following us!
NBA Tuesday March 12th
Los Angeles Lakers @ Chicago Bulls (7pm ET)
Our best bet from the seven games on a busy Tuesday comes from the intriguing match-up between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls. This game is scheduled to tip-off at 7pm (Eastern Time at the famous United Center in Chicago. This will be the second and final time these teams meet in their 2018-19 campaigns.
Last time they played
The Lakers and the Bulls met at the Staples Center in Los Angeles just under two months prior to this game on Tuesday. On that day, the Lakers were victorious by seven points after a see-sawing affair, which featured numerous players that no longer suit up for either team. Now a Wizard, Jabari Parker top scored for the Bulls that night with 18 points in 17 minutes off the bench, whilst the now injured Lonzo Ball (19 points, eight rebounds, six assists) was the best player for the Lakers.
Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers season is officially over thanks to a disgraceful five games current losing streak. Their most recent was at the hands of the Celtics, who defeated LeBron and the Lakers by 13 points on their own deck. The Lakers have also lost 15 of their last 20 games, which has just been a terrible couple of months for their organisation as a whole. In other news, Andre Ingram has been signed to another 10-day contract by the Lakers, which should at least brings some excitement into a very dull environment.
The Bulls season has been over for quite sometime, pretty much just as it begun. However, they’re currently playing some of their best and most exciting basketball of their 2018-19 campaign. They’ve won just 19 games for the season, but six of those have come from their last 11 games, which highlights the growth their young core has had as unit. The acquisition of Otto Porter Jr has also been a successful one, as he looks like another building block for the future along with Zach Lavine and Lauri Markkanen.
The Lakers have openly stated that they’re going to be looking to the future for their remaining games this season, which also means having LeBron James on a minutes restriction. Meanwhile, the Bulls are playing enthused basketball and will love the idea of beating the Lakers on their home floor. We see them as well over the odds here.
