NBA Playoffs Betting Picks - Friday April 28th

Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors

Chase Center, 8.00pm (ET)
The Warriros went down 0-2 in their first round series against the Kings but have fought back to win the next three games in a row and now have a great opportunity to close out the series with a win at home. Steph Curry has been back to his dominant best during the series, putting up 31.4 points and 4.6 assists per game.
The Kings haven’t had a lot of issues scoring the ball during this series, averging 115.6 points per game across the five games so far. Their issue has been on the defensive end, as they have allowed the Warriors to score 121 per game over the last three.
The Warriors start as 7.5 point favourites here, which seems about right given their fantastic record at home this season. They finished the regular season with a 33-8 straight up record at home and a league best 27-13-1 record at home against the spread.
In saying that, I think this 7.5 point line is a little too high for a potentially series clinching game. The Kings won’t be pulling any of their stars out early here, and will be fighting for the win until the final seconds. Back this one to stay relatively close.

Memphis Grizzlies at Los Angeles Lakers

Crypto.com Arena, 10.30pm (ET)
The Lakers lead their first round matchup against the Grizzlies 3-2 and have a chance to close out the series at home on Friday night. This will mark their 2nd series closing opportunity, as they failed to get the job done in Memphis on Wednesday night, going down by 17 points.
While LeBron James has been a fantastic floor general throughout the series, it’s been star big man Anthony Davis that has been the offensive lynshpin for the Lakers, putting up 21.8 points and 13.6 rebounds per game.
The Lakers start as 4.5 point favourites at home and I like them at that line. LeBron James has been fanatstic in series clinching games at home over the course of his career, averaging over 25 points and maintaining a record well above .600. Back him to get the job done here and set up a mouthwatering 2nd round clash against (potentially) the Warriors.
