It’s a monster 5 game slate in the NBA this Christmas Days in one of the best days on the sporting calendar! We have you covered with a preview and betting picks for all five games here.
NBA Christmas Day Picks

Philadelphia 76ers at New York Knicks

Madison Square Garden, 12.00pm (ET)
The 76ers have been on a roll since they got their key players back from injury, particularly James Harden. Since the star guard came back into the side, Philly are 6-1 and have jumped into 5th place in the Eastern Conference.
They start as 1.5 point favourites on the road and I like them at that line. They have covered the spread in five of their last six, winning those games by an average margin of 16.8 points.

Los Angeles Lakers at Dallas Mavericks

American Airlines Center, 2.30pm (ET)
The Lakers resurgence in the 2022-23 season came to an abrubt halt recently as star forward Anthony Davis was struck down with a foot injury. The big man has missed the last three games and with that the Lakers have slid back to 13th in the West standings.
Mavs have all their key pieces intact at the moment while the Lakers will be without AD, Russel Westbrook and Austin Reaves. 8 points doesn’t seem enough for the Lakers here.

Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics

TD Garden, 5.00pm (ET)
The Bucks and Celtics will meet in a top of the conference clash from 5.00pm. The Celtics have fallen away over their last few games and will be keen to reassert their dominance over the Eastern Conference with a win here. They have lost their last three in a row to sit level with the Bucks and Cavs in the win column.
The Bucks start as three point underdogs here but I’m staying away from that line and opting for the unders instead. Both of these teams have strong defenses and the last seven games between these two sides have resulted in an average total of just 203.2 points.

Memphis Grizzlies at Golden State Warriors

Chase Center, 8.00pm (ET)
The Warriors are without their star point guard Steph Curry for an extended period of time due to injury and their offense has struggled mightily in his absence. They have lost two of their last three games to fall to 11th in the Western Conference standings.
Like the unders again here. This line at 226.0 seems a little high given the last two between these two teams have resulted in an average of just 211.3 total points.

Phoenix Suns at Denver Nuggets

Ball Arena, 10.00pm (ET)
The final game of the night looks like an overs play to me! The Nuggets and Suns are two of the highest scoring teams in the competition and Denver have been getting in shootouts of late. Their last seven games have had an average of 232.8 total points.
The last matchup between these two sides had a monster 270 points scored with star players Devin Booker going off for 49 while Nikola Jokic had 28. Back the overs here.
